The History Channel is an American cable television network that has produced documentaries and factual programming touching on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). Sandra O’Hara has said that Leslie Kean was involved both behind and in front of the camera on the History Channel documentary based on UFOS: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go on the Record, a production based on Kean’s UFO book that O’Hara said aired the month Budd Hopkins died; O’Hara said she served as the documentary’s field producer and also appeared on camera as an interviewee.1
The production company Impossible Factual has counted the History Channel among its clients, alongside National Geographic and the Smithsonian Institution.2
The History Channel also sought to produce a television programme with the To The Stars Academy (TTSA) team, featuring investigators interviewing former military personnel about their UAP encounters.3 Luis Elizondo and Christopher K. Mellon agreed to participate in the programme on condition that it be authentic, with no artificial drama or conspiracy theories, no scripts, and only current or former government witnesses.4
