Chad

Chad is a cousin of former US Navy pilot David Fravor, who has said Chad recorded video footage of the object encountered during the 2004 USS Nimitz incident and reviewed its infrared imagery for signs of propulsion.

Chad is a cousin of David Fravor, the former US Navy pilot associated with the 2004 USS Nimitz encounter. Chad and another cousin, Ray, lived near Fravor in the same neighbourhood, growing up together as part of an Italian family.¹ Fravor has said that he, Chad, Ray, and two further family members grew up alongside one another and that he considers them like brothers.²

Fravor said that he would drop everything and travel immediately if either Ray or Chad ever needed him, describing the closeness of the relationship.³

According to Fravor, Chad recorded the video footage of the object encountered during the incident. Fravor said that Chad subsequently reviewed the footage’s electro-optical and infrared imaging modes and found no visual signs of propulsion.⁴
