E. H. Lamont was a ship’s captain associated with the ruined stone complex of Federated States of Micronesia, Pohnpei, Nan Madol. According to The Fourth Mind, when Lamont found Nan Madol in the early 1850s the site was already in ruins, probably having been abandoned after the fall of the Saudeleur Dynasty.1

Little else about Lamont is recorded in the available sources.
