Nordic alien (type)

Nordic aliens are typically described as tall, blonde and blue-eyed beings said to live discreetly among humans.¹ Tall Nordic-type beings with hair have been reported frequently in abduction cases, most notably the 1975 Travis Walton abduction case involving Travis Walton.² Nordic-type beings also appear in the accounts of Peter Khoury, including the Peter Khoury alien abduction case of 1992.³ Within the broader taxonomy of reported alien types, Nordics are considered most conspicuous in contactee accounts describing largely benevolent interactions with humanlike beings.⁴

Bill Chalker said the account given by Vicki Klein shares several features identical to those heralded as a breakthrough for understanding the alien abduction agenda by Budd Hopkins in 1987, including Nordic-type humanoids involved in a genetic programme using painful ova removal, a room housing bred babies, and weak babies responding to human bonding.⁵ According to Hair of the Alien: DNA and Other Forensic Evidence for Alien Abductions, the 1970 Imjarvi, Finland close encounter of Aarno Heinonen and Esko Vijo featured a Nordic female entity carrying a hand-held “ball” artefact, with suggestions of controlling implants.⁶ The same source describes the 1968 Villa Carlos Paz, Argentina Nordic entity encounter with Maria Elodia Pretzel, in which a Nordic entity used a ball to manipulate what is described as a solid light phenomenon (UFO) at Argentina Villa Carlos Paz, confronting witness Maria Elodia Pretzel and causing her to slowly fall backwards and rise again at least twice.⁷

Credo Mutwa described beings he termed Wazungu (African term for white-skinned aliens) as tall, athletically built, with slightly slanting blue eyes, high cheekbones, golden hair, and long, musician-like fingers.⁸ Bill Chalker said he considered Mutwa’s Wazungu account to be describing the Nordic-type beings extensively reported in UFO literature.⁹ Richard Thompson said that parallels could be drawn between the Vedic female Devas (goddesses) and UFO entities, particularly Nordic-type aliens.¹⁰ Bill Chalker said he considered the Tuatha de Danann tradition and fairy folklore to feature a similar pairing of figures: tall, often long-haired, blue-eyed beings with striking abilities and resources - the Tuatha and the Nordics - alongside diminutive beings often intent on entrapment and abduction - the fairies and the gray alien stereotype.¹¹ Bill Chalker said he did not suggest the beings recovered in the 1994 discovery of Xinjiang Taklimakan mummies were related to the Nordic-type beings often reported in abduction stories, considering such a possibility assessable only once a complete DNA profile of the mummies and consistent DNA profiles from a significant number of abduction cases became available.¹²

According to Hair of the Alien, some accounts describe two disparate entity types said to claim they are one people: a tall, blonde figure resembling the Nordic race, and a second, dog-faced type with pointed ears, eyes lacking iris or white, a longish flattened nose and a thin mouth, dressed in a blue-grey tunic with a tight banded collar and oval shoes.¹³ Alvin Guerra said he was rewarded for his cooperation with a sexual encounter with the tall, blue-eyed, blond-haired Nordic commander of the UFO.¹⁴

Ross Coulthart has said that Jason Reza Jorjani, during the 2025-11 Jason Reza Jorjani interview on American Alchemy, claimed the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)’s alleged access to consumer DNA databases is used to screen for genetic markers of Nordic alien beings said to live on Earth.¹⁵ Coulthart has also said that Nordic aliens are said to favour living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.¹⁶
